The ongoing development of our youth members to become future leaders in lifesaving is a proud tradition at Hampton. LSV run a number of development camps for those interested in pursuing future leadership roles at either club or state level – and we actively support applications from all members in the specific age groups listed below.
Under 13 Development Camp
Congratulations for Amelia James, Therese Hetherington and Loretta DeNittis, who will be representing Hampton at the LSV Under 13 Leadership Development Camp in April.
Under 15 Development Camp
Congratulations to two of our YIPS – Erin Reed and Mitchell Cole, who represented Hampton at the U15 Camp at Stringybark Lodge this year.
Champion Junior Lifesaver
The Champion Junior Lifesaver (CJL) recognises the excellence in a young member, someone who has gone above and beyond throughout the season, showing fantaastic leadership in the lifesaving community. The Champion Junior Lifesaver is an award for the lifesaving members ages 13 or 14 that hold an SRC.
We are proud to announce that Tom Griffin and Isabella Cameron will be representing Hampton at this prestigious event at LSV HQ (Port Melbourne) this year.
