Training allows members to become involved in the Australian tradition of volunteer service and life saving and we aim is to make Hampton Life Saving Club a centre of excellence within the Bayside district, recognised for the quality of our lifesaving training.
Our goal is to provide high quality, accessible life saving education and training opportunities for members through an annual program.
The club training team aims to provide all members with a learning environment that gives lots of opportunities for personal development in life saving education and awards and that encourages them to improve their life saving knowledge and techniques.
As a club we are committed to continuously improving the delivery and quality of the life saving education and training we provide. This includes opportunities each year for qualified members to test their skills and knowledge in realistic scenarios and club events.
Many of the skills and awards we offer are accredited under the Australian Qualifications Training Framework (AQTF) and are highly valued by employers and other community organisations.
There are many ways you can get involved through training in aquatic rescue, power craft, first aid and emergency care. These are described in more detail on the tabs above. If you would like further information you can contact our Chief Instructor.
We look forward to seeing you on the beach!
